Falling behind as usual. I’m going to have to make a cross-stitch sampler of that.

Back in October, my closest friend in the US and I traveled to Florence, Italy to take part in a 10-day Road Scholar program and we walked our feet off from morning to night. There was so much to see and when we weren’t traipsing the back streets with our guide and group, we were out and about on our own. My fitness app let me know that we averaged somewhere around 12,000 steps each day!

Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, Florence is where my Canon Powershot S100 sang its final swan song right under Brunelleschi’s Dome, so most of my photos were taken with my Samsung S4. Here’s a small selection from Santa Croce (inspired by Deb Whittam’s post):
