Weekly Photo Challenge: From Lines to Patterns

Another trip, another 1000+ photos.  I am stunned figuring out which ones to share with you. So in true blue procrastination, I went and bought PSE11 for a song on Adobe.com and am now watching tutorials before they roll over to PSE12 next week. (Heaven help me resist the Siren Song of PS Actions!) Guess you’ll have to wait a bit longer.

Meanwhile, these images were taken in the stairwell between the library and the church of Melk Abbey in Austria and quite suit this week’s WordPress.com’s Photo Challenge.

    1. It is stunning, tt. There are more pictures at the Wikipedia article I linked to above, including a photo of the library.

    1. Of course! Thanks for the good wishes with PSE. It’s the first time I’ve upgraded since PSE8 (which I hated), so this is quite a change. Unfortunately they seem to believe that everyone has a widescreen monitor, which I do not. Will takes some getting used to.

The staircase was wonderful, but, oh, the *library*! Sadly no pictures allowed. Oddly however, when we were there the windows were open and I asked one of the stalwart guardians if the books wouldn’t suffer. The reply I got was, “it’s hot outside; visitors need air.” :)
