The residents of the Hula Valley Nature Reserve are constantly changing depending on the time of year you visit. On this weekend’s visit there were only a few egrets, but we also saw cormorants, ducks, storks, water buffalo, turtles and muskrats.
I spotted this little guy at the back door of our building following the morning’s rain when I came home from grocery shopping. Figuring he wouldn’t get too far, I went upstairs to put my groceries away and came downstairs less than 10 minutes later with my camera all set to photograph him. He was gone! Found him again next to the parking lot and while that isn’t miles away, for a snail he was truckin’!
(To Photo Friday visitors: yes, I know I’m a week late!)
