Highlighting photos from a Gallery in a Text widget using the Gallery shortcode and a Post or Page ID number, If you wish to highlight only a few photos, use "includes." Photos must appear in a published Post or Page otherwise visitors will get a 404 error if they click on a photo to view it. Also works with the Slideshow type Gallery.

Being a native New Yorker and still having family & friends there…my heart stopped for a second when I saw this! Thanks goodness it’s fake.

While the above photo is a fake, the NYC subway system was unfortunately inundated by the storm swell. Only time will tell to what extent.
